In all of history greatness always comes from crisis. The same is true for you and your team. Some of the biggest opportunities will come from them stepping up when there is a problem.
A great boss is one who practices seeing a crisis as an opportunity and then teaches their team the same. Failure to learn this art will result in chasing fires, lower morale and the perception that things are always wrong or that it will never be right.
The next time that you or your employees are faced with a crisis ask “what opportunity does this present?” This will create a much more positive and optimistic mindset and could lead to helping you create wins. You and your team will have no greater admiration then being able to turn a crisis into a win.
